Sweet Sweet Imaginaries
Oh, how I miss you and imagine lifetimes of
nothing
nothing
nothing sweet…
Oh how I
I wonder about you and the where and the what
Oh, how I wonder, I wonder about
the parking lots
Rooftops with giggles and games of unknowing freedom
Oh how I wonder about long drives with shared words of the night
Oh how I wonder about unexplored cities
Oh how I wonder about gardens and gardens
Fields and the fields of my wonders and your imagined and realized beauty
Oh how I wonder of you and me
Oh how I wonder of the tone when you seep of honesty
And the feeling and catching each seep,
Oh how I wonder of fleeting nerves and ego.
Wondering about the choices behind your words
Is how you kill me from afar
How I let you kill over and over with hopes of
All the things I have wondered for:
Lifetimes of sweet nothings and flutters,
Images I can make up, but don’t make out
To be in the cool flesh of a writer’s empty hands
